BIOGRAPHY

Shobhana Talukdar, MD earned her medical degree at the Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati, Assam, India before completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Henry Ford Health System in Michigan. She completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and her fellowship in surgical critical care from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

She specializes in all areas of gynecological cancer such as ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and other cancers of the female reproductive organs.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in working as a team with the patient to meet each individual patient’s needs. My philosophy is to listen wholeheartedly and build relationships with my patients and their families to make sure they feel as safe and secure as possible, providing hope as we walk with them through their cancer journey.

PERSONAL

In her spare time, Dr. Talukdar enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She’s passionate about cooking and travel.
