Dr. Patel was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and moved to Arizona in 2000. He completed his general surgery internship and urologic surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, obtaining recognition from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons as the 2019 Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgeon.

Dr. Patel graduated magna cum laude with honors from the University of Arizona and obtained his medical degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

During his time at Emory, Dr. Patel received advanced surgical training in all aspects of urology, including open and minimally invasive surgery, all urologic cancers, advanced robotic surgery (prostate, kidney, ureter, and bladder), cryoablation, brachytherapy, stone disease, vasectomy, male and female urinary issues, urological trauma, erectile dysfunction, prosthetic surgery, and infertility. Dr. Patel has also published book chapters, papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, and has presented at several national urology conferences.

Dr. Patel strives to provide the highest quality care for his patients, focusing on the importance of an open line of communication and treating each patient as he would his own family.
