BIOGRAPHY
Allan V. Espinosa, MD is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Espinosa earned his medical degree from the Universidad Americana, Nicaragua, and then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He finished his fellowship in oncology/hematology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Espinosa also worked as a post-doctoral researcher on thyroid cancer at Ohio State University. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Espinosa specializes in general oncology with a special interest in endocrine malignancies. He was awarded the Excellence in Continuity Clinic Care Resident Award, as well as the Resident Teaching Award and the Humanism Award. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in treating every patient as if they are family. My goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive cancer care, improving the lives of my patients through my dedication and hard work.
PERSONAL
Dr. Espinosa is married with a daughter. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, kayaking, skiing, and playing soccer.
