BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Langerak’s expertise includes multiple myeloma, lymphoma, breast, pancreatic, stomach, colon, lung, kidney, ovarian, uterine, testicular, bladder, and prostate cancers, as well as benign hematological problems. He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Arizona Cancer Center. Dr. Langerak is board certified in hematology and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and the American College of Physicians. Additionally, he is co-author of a handbook entitled “Chemotherapy Regimens and Cancer Care.”
PERSONAL
Dr. Langerak is married to Kelly Langerak, PharmD. They have two grown children, Andrew and Madison. They have three golden retrievers, Penny, Blue, and Gus.
