BIOGRAPHY

Vanessa Arteaga Chen, MPAS, PA-C is a physician assistant at the Wilmot location. Vanessa graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies program and completed a primary care fellowship with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Prior to joining Arizona Oncology, Vanessa supported a team of physicians as an internal medicine physician assistant at Yale Northeast Medical group in New Haven, CT. She has a clinical interest in breast cancer and hematology.


PHILOSOPHY

I believe in providing compassionate, comprehensive care rooted in evidence-based medicine. Each patient deserves to be treated with empathy by a medical team who understands their unique needs and circumstances. By integrating the latest research medical research, I strive to deliver a high standard of care while fostering trust and collaboration with my patients.


PERSONAL

Outside of the office, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family, including her son. She enjoys yoga, music, and reading, and is a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers. She has a deep affection for the Harry Potter series and admires the way it inspires the imagination and teaches valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and resilience.
