BIOGRAPHY

Jacqueline Skrutvold is a certified physician assistant who specializes in treating breast cancer. She has over a decade of experience in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. Jacqueline interprets test results, performs therapeutic procedures, and helps educate patients as they navigate their cancer care. She has participated in the Project ECHO pain curriculum and has experience collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to tailor individualized treatment plans.

PHILOSOPHY

Jacqueline believes patients are people first. She strongly feels that the best medical providers are empathetic and can connect with patients on a personal level—to her, patients feel like an extension of her own family. She prioritizes listening to the patient’s needs, fears, and goals and collaborates with other members of the Arizona Oncology team to ensure they receive the highest standard of care. Motivated by a calling to be a healer, she wants to see her patients not just survive but also thrive. Jacqueline aims to make medicine and healing feel less frightening.

PERSONAL

Jacqueline is the mother of three beautiful daughters and considers raising them her greatest accomplishment and joy. Her family has two dogs and loves to travel—especially to the ocean. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching movies. She also likes to garden and believes she’s inherited her mother’s green thumb—ask her about her succulents, figs, and grapefruits!
