BIOGRAPHY

Charinale Elorta Prado, NP-BC is a nurse practitioner working with medical oncology and hematology patients at the Flagstaff location. After eight years of working as a registered nurse, Charinale decided to return to school to become a nurse practitioner so she could have an even greater impact on the health of her community. She has practiced in oncology for six years and has previously worked in internal medicine, hospice care, and palliative care. Charinale has a clinical interest in breast cancer, prostate cancer, and colon cancer. As a former palliative care nurse practitioner, she is also interested in addressing and managing her patients’ symptoms and side effects from cancer treatment.

PHILOSOPHY

I strive to provide honest patient care while treating each patient as I would want to be treated. I believe compassion is an essential part of healthcare and aim to care for each patient as if they were my own family member.

PERSONAL

Charinale was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to California with her family when she was 18 years old. She comes from a family of nurses, including her mother and three younger sisters. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, cooking, baking, and participating in her church.
