Free Webinar for Primary Care Physicians on Radiation Therapy

In its continued efforts to help educate referring physicians and the public on radiation therapy as a safe and effective treatment for cancer, ASTRO has launched a free, on-demand course, called "Radiation therapy for the primary care physician: What do I need to know to care effectively for my patient?" This one-hour course reviews the fundamental treatment process for a patient receiving radiation therapy and terms used in radiation treatment, discusses basic indications for radiation therapy and explores the signs and symptoms of common late effects of radiotherapy. Participants can receive 1.0 AMA PRA category 1TM credit or fulfill one of your SA-CME requirements with the course. Learn more about the course and spread the word to referring physicians and your colleagues.
