We wanted to reassure you that Arizona Oncology remains open to provide medically necessary, life-sustaining care. In addition, our expert care team can now see patients through scheduled virtual appointments on a secure platform from the comfort and safety of your home.

Please note; only one caregiver is allowed to accompany during your appointment, no one under the age of 18, and no visitors in the infusion rooms, radiation and treatment areas. If you have flu-like symptoms, you should contact Arizona Oncology before visiting our clinics for scheduled appointments. This includes fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as coughing or difficulty breathing.
We ask that you follow our tips to stay healthy and to help do our part in prevention of spreading of these viruses.

Dr. Flaherty joined Arizona Oncology in 2016 and treats many types of cancers with a focus on genitourinary (kindey, bladder and prostate) cancers and research studies with those cancers. She also treats patients with breast, prostate, lymphoma along with other benign blood disorders.
Dr. Flaherty completed her fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Hematology/Oncology. Throughout her fellowship she focused on Genitourinary cancers and presented posters at GU ASCO but for her private practice she has been seeing all patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnosis.  Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Flaherty was a chief resident in charge of the internal medicine residency program at UT Health Science Center in Houston.  She also worked on publications and presentations pertaining to genitourinary malignancies.
Dr. Flaherty enjoys spending time with her husband and being a mom to her two boys. When she is not running around after the boys she enjoys exercising, volunteering and educating the community.

I am inspired to help guide patients and their families through their cancer diagnosis and treatment, to make a challenging time in their life a little more comfortable.

Dr. Flaherty is married with one child and enjoys hiking and Crossfit
