Triage focuses on addressing the immediate needs of patients, both clinically and administratively. This enables employees to work as advocates for our patients that we have grown to know so well. The team acts as a liaison between staff, providers, patients and facilities. Administrative triage assists with questions about appointments, scheduling, support services, hospital consults, and patient experience. Clinical triage assists with questions about symptoms, test results, treatment expectations, and general calls of a clinical nature. The two act as a team to distribute information between the patients and staff and also to provide the best patient service possible.
