In an effort to increase cancer knowledge and offer support to those affected by cancer, the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare and Verde Valley Medical Center are hosting a special Lunch & Learn event. The luncheon aims to bring hope and encouragement to cancer patients, survivors, friends and family members of those affected by cancer through education and inspiring presentations.

The next free Lunch & Learn is Noon – 2 p.m., Saturday, July 16, at Verde Valley Medical Center, 269 Candy Lane, Conference Room B; lunch provided. Pelusi’s discussion will focus on long-term cancer survivorship issues for the person with cancer and their partner, as well as cancer symptom management. Pelusi’s commitment to those with cancer and their families is evident as she speaks about her experiences and extensive research.
