Arizona Oncology Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner in Prescott Valley


PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (Jan. 02, 2013) — Drs. Pamela Miel and Michael Vu at Arizona Oncology’s Prescott Valley location are excited to introduce Family Nurse Practitioner, Sheri Erwin. She will assist Dr. Vu.

She has more than 12 years of experience in the health care and clinical research industries. Her medical background is extensive and includes oncology, internal medicine, cardiovascular, pulmonary and gene therapy.

The Prescott Valley Arizona Oncology practice specializes in hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Miel is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American College of Physicians and the President-elect of the Arizona Clinical Oncology Society. She's had articles published in Expert Review of Anticancer Therapy and Clinical Lymphoma, Myeloma & Leukemia.

Dr. Vu received his medical degree from La Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, received his doctor of pharmacy at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and completed his fellowship in medical hematology-oncology at the University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1998. He was in private practice in Vero Beach, Florida, for seven years prior to relocating to Arizona in 2005 and he is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
