Authentic Self Counseling
Arizona Oncology has partnered with Authentic Self Counseling to offer conseling services to our patients. This high-quality care helps individuals, couples, families and children by using cognitive therapy, guided imagery, EMDR and groups when available. - Lending Library and free informational booklets – all cancer related subjects.
- Wigs and head coverings available to cancer patients at no charge for use as long as needed. Donations and returns in good condition are always appreciated.
- Touch therapy appointments available for Acupuncture, Massage, Craniosacral, Manual Lymph Drainage, Refl exology, Healing Touch, Shiatsu and Reiki. Call (520) 877-9038 to schedule an appointment. All sessions are $35. Cash or check accepted.
- Nutritional consultations available Before, During and After Cancer Treatment with Mary Marian, Registered Dietician and Instructor at the University of Arizona. Appointments can be made by calling (520) 235-6793. Consultations are $35.
- Yoga and Qi Gong movement classes can be performed sitting or standing. Call (520) 877-9038 for days and times. $7 per class.
- Cancer counseling, education and support with Jeanne Harvath, RN, LCSW. Scheduled appointments available by calling (520) 877-9045. Insurance accepted.
- Support Group for patients, caregivers and family members, Living with Cancer, meets the second Thursday of each month. Call (520) 877-9038 for time and location.
- Chemotherapy Infusion Unit Volunteers provide support and companionship during treatment.
- Resource Volunteers available on-site Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM to answer questions and provide community program information.
