Before joining Arizona Oncology, Dr. Smith was the Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She then moved on to Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where she was the Associate Residency Program Coordinator and served on the Robotic Surgical Committee, Cancer Care Committee and Surgical Pathology Committee. While at Loyola University Medical Center, Dr. Smith served as a principal investigator for the National Cancer Institute Gynecologic Group Protocols including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and vulvar protocols. Dr. Smith was named one of Chicagos Top Docs for over 10 years and was recognized by US News and World report as one of Americas Top Physicians. Her professional associations include American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, New England Association of Gynecologic Oncologists and Association of Women Surgeons.
