PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from University of Southern California and after conducting blood coagulation research for two years at the L.A. County Medical Center, earned his medical degree from University of Southern California School of Medicine. He interned and completed residency in internal medicine at University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, then completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Previously, Dr. Kuefler maintained a private practice in Billings, Montana, and held a clinical assistant professorship at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Dr. Kuefler is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
HONORS:
Originally from Inglewood, California, Dr. Kuefler is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His articles have been published in a variety of medical journals including Clinics in Hematology and American Journal of Physiology.
